About the show

Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss's pop-concert musical retells the lives of Henry VIII's six wives as a competition for the lead vocalist slot of a girl-group called The Queens. Eighty minutes, no intermission, six performers, a four-piece all-female band on stage. Won the Tony for Best Original Score in 2022. Aimed squarely at a younger audience but the precision of the writing and performances has crossover appeal.

Content advisory: Recommended ages 10+. Some sexual references (Henry's marriages, Anne Boleyn's beheading) handled with wit rather than shock. Loud — bring or buy ear protection for sensitive kids.
