The short version
The Eugene O'Neill is a mid-sized house (1,108 seats) with a single mezzanine balcony and an intimate orchestra. Centre orchestra is the premium tier; front mezzanine is the consensus best-value pick. Side orchestra rows lose some of the choreography but the show's comedy is dialogue-driven enough that sight-line loss is less of a penalty than for a dance-heavy show.
Section by section
Sections are ordered roughly cheapest-to-most-expensive within the house's seating tiers — but the best value isn't always the cheapest. Watch for the sweet spot.
-
Orchestra
Centre orchestra is premium for proximity. Side rows are cheaper and the comedy plays fine from there — but you lose some choreography on the corners.
-
Front Mezzanine
Best value pick at the Eugene O'Neill — full stage picture, no neck angle, cheaper than centre orchestra.
-
Rear Mezzanine
Furthest seats but no real obstructions. The cheapest legitimate option if TKTS doesn't have it.
